James LeGros Professor Revis Williams

James LeGros has long been a familiar face in the world of Independent Films. After being cast by Gus Van Sant as Matt Dillon's drug addicted cohort in Drug Store Cowboy, LeGros went on to costar in numerous Independent Spirit Award nominated films such as Nicole Holofcener's Lovely and Amazing opposite Emily Mortimer, Todd Haynes' Safe opposite Julianne Moore, Alan Rudolph's Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh, Stacey's Cochran's My New Gun opposite Drew Barrymore, and Tom DiCillo's Living In Oblivion, for which LeGros was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for his portrayal of the dim-witted rising A-list movie star Chad Palomino opposite Steve Buscemi and Catherine Keener. No stranger to the Sundance Film Festival, he has starred in such Grand Jury nominated films as Bart Freundlich's The Myth of Fingerprints opposite Julianne Moore, Billy Morrisette's Scotland, PA opposite Maura Tierny, Greg Harrison's November opposite Courtney Cox, Stacey Cochran's Drop Back Ten, and Peter McCarthy's Floundering. In addition, LeGros has been featured as a recurring character on the television shows Sleeper Cell, Ally McBeal, and ER, and will be soon featured on the new NBC show Mercy.
